Scholarships for 2025-2026
To help educators achieve Maya Angelou’s wise words “When you know better, you do better”, The Reading Circuit is offering scholarships for teachers to learn evidence-based literacy practices.
SCHOLARSHIPS
One scholarship will cover the equivalent of a 3-credit graduate level course in evidence-based literacy instruction (up to $1,500).
One scholarship will cover the cost of an online module in evidence-based literacy instruction (up to $250)
One scholarship will cover the registration fees for The Dyslexia Foundation’s Conference on October 10, 2025 at Boston University (up to $200)

Things to Know
The mission of The Reading Circuit is to support educators as they learn about and implement evidence-based literacy. We are delighted to offer financial assistance to achieve this goal!

For your application to be considered by the Committee:

You must be currently employed in a Massachusetts school or be a teacher candidate in a practicum in a Massachusetts school.

You must not be in your last three years of teaching before retirement.

You must select one of the providers/courses identified by The Reading Circuit for the 2025-2026 Scholarship year.

Note: You are still eligible for this scholarship if you had already signed up and started one of these courses before you knew about the scholarship.

The scholarship will cover a course taken in the Fall 2025, Spring 2026 or Summer 2026 semesters. Courses need to be completed by September 30, 2026.

You must pay for the course yourself. Upon successful completion of the course, submit proof of course completion and your receipt and The Reading Circuit will reimburse you up to $1,500 for a 3-credit graduate course, up to $250 for an online module course and up to $200 for The Dyslexia Foundation Conference Registration.
