SCHOLARSHIPS

We are delighted to offer TWO (2) Scholarships that will cover, up to $400, the cost of taking coursework, from the list of providers identified in the application form. 

​

The application for the 2023-2024 school year has closed.

We hope to offer similar tuition scholarships next year!

​

For your application to be considered by the Committee:

  • You must be currently employed in a Massachusetts school.

  • You must not be in your last three years of teaching before retirement.

  • You must select one of the providers/courses identified by The Reading Circuit for this 2023-2024 Scholarship year.   Note: You are still eligible for this scholarship if you had already signed up and started one of these courses before you knew about the scholarship.

  • You must submit proof of course completion in order to receive the tuition scholarship.

There is a separate application form for awards to purchase materials to support evidence-based teaching.  (scroll down for more information)

Monetary Awards

For your application to be considered:

  • You must be currently employed in a Massachusetts school.

  • You must not be in your last three years of teaching before retirement.

  • You must select one of the sets of materials that have identified by The Reading Circuit as meeting the criteria for evidence-based materials.  NOTE: If you recently purchased one of the items listed, you are still eligible for the award; if selected, you can submit your receipt and The Reading Circuit will reimburse you!

  • The award includes the cost of shipping of materials.

There is a separate application form for a tuition scholarship for courses in evidence-based literacy.
