DYSLEXIA-DYSGRAPHIA course for Summer 2022 has been cancelled.
It will be rescheduled for the Fall.
This 30 hour course will provide educators with the background knowledge in the development of reading and writing skills in elementary school.
The course will
-
outline typical and atypical development
-
feature evidence-based instruction across the tier of a MTSS model
-
include the use of assessment to inform instructional practice
-
connect handwriting to literacy achievement
-
explain the importance of orthographic mapping for literacy development

This is a hybrid learning course with 14 hours of 'live' Zoom instruction and 16 hours of self-guided, asynchronous coursework.

Unfortunately, due to a scheduling conflict, this summer's course offering has been cancelled.
